Chris Stillahn

Secretary/Treasurer

Chris Stillahn was raised in Wyoming, where he grew up ranching and farming, developing a strong work ethic, and an early desire to drive innovation and utilize technology. Chris received his education at Colorado State University, graduating in 2007 with a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Business.
Following graduation, Chris built a career supporting John Deere and precision agriculture technology, gaining extensive experience in agronomy and advanced ag technology solutions. For more than 12 years, he has worked alongside Ag producers across Nebraska, Colorado, and Wyoming, helping them improve efficiency, profitability, and sustainability through innovative technology—many of the same principles that drive safe, efficient, and forward-looking airport operations. During this time, Chris also fulfilled a lifelong passion for aviation, becoming a private pilot and broadening his technology expertise through his certification as a drone pilot.

In 2019, Chris joined Agri-Risk Solutions, expanding his ability to support both agricultural technology and crop insurance. Through this work, he focuses on delivering practical, data-driven solutions that help producers capture every available margin through technology.
Chris brings a strategic, future-focused mindset to his role on the Western Nebraska Airport Authority Board, recognizing the importance of strong infrastructure, clear communication, and long-term planning for regional aviation. As both an aviation enthusiast and rural business professional, he values the airport’s role in supporting economic development, agriculture, emergency services, hunting, and community connectivity across western Nebraska.

Chris is deeply involved in the Scottsbluff community, serving on the boards of his church, 23 Club Baseball, and the newly established Sports Council. Of all his commitments, his most cherished role is being a husband and father. When he’s not working or serving, Chris enjoys flying, sports, coaching, being active in his church, and spending meaningful time with his family.
